As previously mentioned here in my blog, I’m on the committee for the Central Portrait Branch of the Professional Photographers of Ontario – and my main job is to take photos of the meetings and classes for posterity.

We had a day long workshop on June 28th, with Andrea Nielson, Judy Cormier, Maggie Habieda-Nowakowski and Terry Hrynyk showing everyone shooting techniques with live models. Included were prizes from Abbas with Album Epoca, and a 90 minute class with master photographer David A. Williams (a personal fave), and time for all attendees to shoot with the models. On top of all of that, attendees were able to borrow equipment straight from a Canon sales rep!

While all of this was going on, guess what I was doing? That’s right, I was shooting. At least I got to listen to Mr. Williams… and I get to do so again in September.
