FAQ
  • Do you do “Trash the Dress” shoots?

In a way. “Trash the Dress” is a style “created” by a Las Vegas wedding photographer that does stuff that totally destroys the wedding dress, like set it on fire. Many photographers copy him, thinking that wading in a lake is the same thing.

I do fashion slanted artistic shoots that mirror the personality of the subject, their likes, dislikes, hobbies, careers, hopes and dreams. I’m not going to take an investment banker to an abandoned warehouse and make her dance around in slop, wrecking her dress, if her idea of fun is reading classic literature while sipping wine in front of a fire. I shoot her reading and drinking in front of a fire!

I don’t call what I do “TTD” like other photographers because I try to innovate, not imitate. Although a wedding dress is way too expensive to wear once and then box up, I think back to my Mother-in-Law’s wedding dress that was tailored into a christening gown for my Godson. It’s hard to do that if you’ve torn the dress to shreds.

I’m not against destroying a dress, though. I’m from Northern Ontario where couples have been known to jump on atvs and go mudding in their wedding gear… I just make sure it fits your personality.

    Do you do Gay/Lesbian unions?

Surely. I’m currently working on a website to market my talents directly to your community.

    Do you do Boudoir?

I hate that term, it makes it sound like a creepy perv shooting in the 80′s.

Again, I shoot fashion slanted artwork, but I do a series of portraits that range from glamour to boudoir to nudes, called Beautiful You – link coming soon, working on the site right now… – It’s directed more to help women find the beauty in themselves and less parading around in skivvies or less.

And yes, it involves “Dudeoir” – boudoir for guys.

Do you travel, or do destination weddings?

Of course. Contact me for details about my destination rates and requirements.

For traveling within Ontario, ask for details about my 4/69 special – Any destination off of highways 400 and 69 include great discounts on travel and accomodations – in Sudbury, it’s FREE!!
